It’s official. Azure Operational Insights (OpInsights) is set to become generally available on May 4, 2015. This service is in Preview at present and is already generating a great deal of excitement among users for the valuable insight it’s able to provide into the IT infrastructure. This release is set to coincide with Microsoft’s Inaugural Ignite event in Chicago, IL. USA. There are 3 OpInsights sessions scheduled to take place at Ignite. These sessions will be led by Microsoft’s SCOM and OpInsights engineering team, so endeavor to attend and interface with the team if you will be in attendance at Ignite. Here’s an excerpt of the email I received about this.
If you’d like to learn more about OpInsights, check out the official documentation. I’ve written some articles about my experiences with this service, and will continue to share with the community as I work more with the service.
Cheers!
