SQL MP Version 6.6.2.0 Retracted due to Issues
Update (12/01/2015): Version 6.6.3.0 fixed the issues referenced below. The version that’s current at the time of this update is version 6.6.4.0. The SQL Server Engineering Team recently acknowledged that there’s an issue with the recently released SQL MP version 6.6.2.0, and have issued a temporary workaround for the issue here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlreleaseservices/archive/2015/10/16/released-system-center-management-pack-for-sql-server-and-replication-6-6-2-0.aspx. If you’ve already downloaded this MP version and are seeing this issue in your environment, you are advised to apply the workaround published above. If however, you’d rather revert to the previous MP Version (SQL MP 6.6.0.0), you can get that from the download center here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/16174.microsoft-management-packs.aspx?PageIndex=6 I have also uploaded the files below, and to One Drive here: http://1drv.ms/1OYdRk8 Cheers! New SCOM SQL Server Dashboards – A Review
A few weeks ago, Microsoft published a new SQL Server management pack version 6.6.0.0. This has been out for over a month, and most of you have already seen and used these dashboards, so alas, the euphoria has likely waned, but for those who aren’t quite as familiar with the new visualization library, I’ve played sufficiently with these dashboards to warrant a review of the new dashboards and … Read More
